Travis Kent

Human Factors/User Experience Researcher

I am currently working on my doctorate in Experimental Psychology with a focus on Human Factors from the University of Kentucky. My academic research focuses on augmented reality, usability, and aesthetics. I completed a one year contract position as a User Experience Research Assistant at X, formerly known as Google[x]. There I worked on a number of projects at various stages alongside fellow UX researchers, designers, and engineers. At X, I was able to learn how to work in a fast paced, multidisciplinary environment that demanded flexibility and efficiency. I look forward to gaining more experience as I work towards my Ph.D. Please view my research page for an overview of my academic research and of course, feel free to contact me or download my resume.
